I am a zoologist specializing in the diversity and systematics of soil nematodes. My research focuses on both free-living and plant-parasitic nematodes in agroecosystems and natural ecosystems. By combining morphological and molecular analyses, I aim to elucidate the evolutionary relationships among these nematodes and enhance our understanding of one of the most crucial groups of soil organisms. The knowledge gained from studying soil nematode diversity and community composition can serve as bioindicators of soil health and environmental changes, particularly in the context of climate change.
