Stela Vlajos Gómez

I studied biology in Athens and a master’s degree in ecology in Madrid. I am currently pursuing a PhD in plant ecology. With our team, we study the plant communities of vertical cliffs on the Iberian Peninsula. These unique and inaccessible communities harbor great phylogenetic diversity and are of great conservation value. Our objectives include the functional characterization of plant communities in cliffs and the study of the unique characteristics observed in cliff specialist plants using a functional and evolutionary approach.
