I hold a degree in Environmental Science and a Master’s in “Characterization and Conservation Techniques of Biological Diversity” from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. I am currently working on my PhD thesis. My research focuses on lichen communities from gypsum soils, which includes the species distribution and composition at a global scale, their affinity for the gypsum substrates, and disentangling which are the main drivers that modulated the different biodiversity facets of this community.
