Sandra Hernández Arenas
I am the project manager for the European project “COUSIN – Crop Wild Relatives Utilization and Conservation for Sustainable Agriculture” and I am also part of the management team of the IICG-URJC. My academic training is focused on the field of Biology (Bachelor’s degree from URJC) and specialized in Marine Biology (Master’s degree from UVigo). I also completed the Master’s in Teacher Training (URJC) and a PhD in Natural Resources Conservation (URJC), focusing on the study of intertidal and subtidal macroalgae on different coasts around the world. After a postdoc at UVigo I have returned to URJC to embark on the world of project management, in which I have previous experience from my predoctoral stage at URJC due to my collaboration in several national projects.
