Rodrigo Márquez Sanz
Mycologist by vocation, with a special interest in the biodiversity, ecology, and evolution of Ascomycota and Basidiomycota. I am currently conducting my doctoral thesis within a project focused on the evolution of the order Cantharellales, studying its phylogenomic relationships, morphological evolution, and taxonomic diversity through an integrative approach that combines molecular techniques and classical systematics. My profile is characterized by an innate scientific curiosity, technical precision, and a deep sensitivity to the fungal world as an invisible driver of ecosystems.
