I hold a degree in Biology and a Master’s in “Characterization and Conservation Techniques of Biological Diversity” from Rey Juan Carlos University. I am currently pursuing my PhD in evolutionary ecology of plants that thrive in semi-arid environments, in the GYPSEVOL team led by Dr. Silvia Matesanz. My research is focused on gypsum-endemic plant populations, to understand how drought and other abiotic and biotic stress factors affect their adaptive differentiation, and how these populations will respond to cope with the new multivariate and complex environmental conditions imposed by global change.
