I am a plant population biologist focused on conservation biology, using ecological, genetic and evolutionary approaches. I study the structure and dynamics of populations, plant-pollinator interactions and local adaptation processes. I work with threatened narrow endemics, mediterranean alpine plants and crop wild relatives. I am currently working on the establishment of a national and a European network of genetic reserves to implement extensively the in situ conservation of crop wild relatives and wild food plants.
