My work deals with stream ecology and it is focused on invertebrate assemblages and their function in energy and nutrient flows. I have combined experimental and observational approaches to investigate the causes and effects of invertebrate assemblage composition. At first, I directed my attention toward basic ecology, but I have become more interested in practical applications.
