Gregorio Aragón Rubio

I am a botanist specializing in the diversity and ecology of lichen communities, with a focus on population dynamics, diversity indicators, and species conservation. My research aims to understand the factors influencing biodiversity generation and loss, particularly those related to fragmentation processes, habitat degradation, and land use. I have devoted much of my career to studying epiphytic, terricolous, and saxicolous species in various environments, including Mediterranean, temperate, and tropical regions.
