Erika Tenorio Moncada

I am an environmental engineer with a specialization in water resources. I have more than 15 years of experience coordinating watershed restoration and management projects and monitoring water quality with different key actors in Honduras. I have designed and coordinated non-formal education initiatives with technicians and decision makers at the regional level on the impacts of climate variability and change on water resources. My work has focused on the study of water quality, both for human consumption and in ecosystems. I am interested in researching the impacts of climate change on the availability and quality of water in ecosystems and in the development of adaptation strategies related to better water management in vulnerable systems.
