I’m an entomologist and ecologist focused on analysing changes in insect population dynamics, to observe the effects of global change on them, with special emphasis on climate change and habitat loss and modification. My line of research ranges from population evolution, inter- and intra-species synchrony, to colonisation capacity to ultimately assess the persistence of species in the ecosystem, all framed in a mountainous altitudinal gradient system over time. In addition to pure research, I am committed to and involved in scientific dissemination activities, which are fundamental in our society.
