Daniel Ramírez Rodríguez-Solís
I am currently a predoctoral researcher at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, where I am conducting my PhD within the field of evolutionary and microbial ecology. My research focuses on the study of the microbiome, life-history traits, behaviour and reproductive ecology of the Pied Flycatcher (Ficedula hypoleuca), a population that has been monitored as part of a long-term study initiated in 1984 in La Hiruela (Madrid). My work combines longitudinal data, ecological analyses and metagenomic approaches to detect and understand patterns in microbial communities and to explore how organisms respond to environmental changes over time.
