Daniel Hagos Berhe
As a restoration ecologist with background in dryland forestry, agroforestry and soil management, natural resources management and environmental sciences, my research primarily have focused on endangered species conservation and community engagement, soil mineralisation, crop diversification, species distribution modelling, climate change, land use land cover evaluation with geospatial tools, NIR spectroscopy, multicriteria decision making (AHP), management of invasive species and restoration ecology of drylands. Currently, I am more interested in exploiting the potential of domesticated crops and wild crop relatives through artificial selection.
