Beatriz Pablo Carmona

I am a technician in Evolutionary Ecology in EVOLCROP project. Throughout my career, I have gained experience at leading research centers in Europe, such as ISTA in Austria and WSL in Switzerland. My interest in biodiversity ranges from fieldwork and sample collection to data gathering and laboratory processing. I particularly enjoy participating in common garden experiments on crop evolution at the specialized CULTIVE facilities, as well as testing new protocols in the group’s various projects. I am passionate about science communication and greatly value the collaborative opportunities that science provides. Whenever possible, I try to get involved in activities that allow me to explore and develop different facets of this profession.
