I am a plant ecologist with specialized expertise in root functional ecology, plant-soil interactions, and belowground plant community assembly processes in Mediterranean environments. As a postdoctoral researcher, I am focusing my research on plant functional aspects, particularly related to water- and nutrient-use strategies in arid environments. Additionally, I am interested in analysing intraspecific variability through the application of Near Infra-Red Spectroscopy techniques as a potential tool for assessing local-scale plant-plant interaction processes in low-species plant communities.
