Alliances

The Global Change Research Institute of the Rey Juan Carlos University (IICG-URJC) is committed to generating rigorous scientific knowledge and contributing to the resolution of real-world problems related to global change, biodiversity, socio-ecological systems, and public policy.

IICG alliances are conceived as collaborations based on scientific rigor, independence, and real-world impact, aimed at connecting cutting-edge research with specific social, environmental, and territorial needs.

The IICG collaborates and establishes alliances with a wide range of stakeholders, including:

  • Public administrations and organizations responsible for environmental, climate and territorial policies.
  • Companies and private entities interested in developing solutions based on scientific evidence.
  • Foundations and civil society organizations.
  • Scientific networks, research centers and national and international universities.

These collaborations can take different forms: scientific advice, joint projects, knowledge transfer, specialized technical training, or participation in strategic initiatives.
