Adrián Escudero
I am an ecologist and director of the Global Change Research Institute (IICG-URJC). I am interested in global issues related to the loss of biological diversity, global change impacts and its more applied aspect that I integrate into what has been called One Health and restoration ecology. I have worked in ecosystems subjected to high stress such as high mountains with a Mediterranean climate, drylands including dry tropical seasonal forests and gypsum soils, one of the most threatened and unknown habitats globally.
